Welcome to Crazy Collars. Thanks for dropping by!
Crazy Collars started on a whim with the Crazy
Jester Collars to help raise money for
Greyhound Crossroads
to help support their plight to save retired racing greyhounds.
Greyhound rescue is growing by leaps and bounds, thanks to Greyhound Crossroads and the many other greyhound rescue groups doing their best to save these wonderful animals once they retire from their racing career. Presently, there are tens of thousands of racing greyhounds being destroyed inhumanely each year. Once a greyhound is no longer a financial gain to the racing industry, these dogs are considered worthless and are usually killed in mass numbers once they come off the race track.
This is where greyhound rescue groups step in to
save these dogs, foster these dogs, and teach these dogs basic living
skills they have never known in their lives at the tracks. The next
step is to find wonderful, loving homes for these special animals.
Unfortunately, it takes unlimited financial
resources to run these rescue organizations and that is why a portion
of all items sold on my site is donated back to Greyhound Crossroads,
to help support their gracious efforts.
So, after having so much fun with the Crazy Jester
Collars, I decided that it was time to see more exciting, fun and
whimsical designer standard and Martingale collars. Martingale
collars are for greyhounds and several other breeds who have smaller
heads than necks, making it easy to slip a standard collar.
All collars are made with top quality hardware and
handmade with pride in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. Most
collars are made with cotton fabrics over a strong, central
foundation. The hardware includes side release acetal buckles, wide
mouth nylon slip lock buckles, heavyweight welded nickelplated D rings
and heavy weight zinc plated snap bolts.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, for
any reason, within 7 days of receiving your product, please contact us
immediately for a complete refund.
If you share our passion for saving these beautiful
animals, and would like to make a donation directly to Greyhound
Crossroads, please click on the Greyhound Crossroads logo below.
Thanks for dropping by Crazy Collars, and enjoy
your visit!
Sincerely,
John Read
